FAQs

What kind of wig to choose?

Choosing a wig depends on several factors, including your personal needs, your lifestyle, and your aesthetic preferences.

Here are some things to consider:

Hair type :

  • Natural Hair : It offers a more natural look and feel and can be styled like your own hair. However, they require more maintenance and are generally more expensive.
  • Synthetic fibers : Cheaper and easier to maintain than natural hair. Synthetic wigs can maintain their style even after washing, but they are often less versatile and malleable.

Cut style :

Choose a cut that will flatter the shape of your face. For example, round faces can benefit from longer, angular cuts, while oval faces can wear almost any style.

Color :

You can choose a color close to your natural hair color or experiment with bold and different shades. Some wigs offer color effects like highlights or highlights.

Wig cap :

  • Standard Hood : Usually cheaper, with hair bands sewn onto the hood.
  • Monofilament : The base of the cap is made of a transparent material where each strand of hair is individually attached, providing a more natural look and styling versatility.
  • Lace Front : Provides a very natural hairline, allowing hair to be pulled back or worn in styles away from the face.

Budget :

Determine how much you are willing to spend. Wigs can vary greatly in price depending on their quality and type.

Medical considerations :

For those losing their hair due to medical conditions like chemotherapy, it is important to choose a wig that is soft and comfortable, and does not irritate the scalp.

How to put on a wig?

To put your wig on correctly, start by positioning it at the front of your head, sliding it from your forehead to the nape of your neck.

Make sure the front edge of the cap is about four fingers' distance above your eyebrows.

Then adjust it at the temples using the straps integrated into the cap, which will secure the wig in place adequately.
